General Information:
Maximal efficacy is achieved by separating herbal supplements from western medications by 1 hour. Give the herbs 1 hour before gastrointestinal coating medications such as kaolin pectate, bismuth subsalicylate and sucralfate or H2 blockers such as cimetidine and famotidine.

Capsules can be given in a small amount of food for easier administration, but try to avoid a full meal.
