Indications:
Chronic encephalitis, pug encephalitis, GME, feline panleukopenia, canine distemper/ CNS-type.
Dose:
One capsule per 10-20lbs of body weight twice daily depending on the severity.
Ingredients:
Rehmannia/raw, scrophularia, ophiopogon root, isatis root, isatis leaf, white peony, donkey gelatin, buffalo horn shavings, ginseng, silkworm, centipede, earthworm
Monitoring:
Physical examination and laboratory tests.
Contraindications:
There is no contraindication known in conjunction with conventional drugs.
Prescribing Information:
It can be used in conjunction with conventional drugs. Low dose corticosteroid or phenobarbital is needed in some cases. Toxicity & reactions are extremely rare. In some extreme cases, herbal supplements may cause vomiting & diarrhea in the first 24-48 hours. Symptoms stop as soon as the herbal supplements discontinued.
