Indications:
Lymphatic Edema
Dose:
1 capsule per 10-20 pounds twice daily, depending on the severity, titrated to effect
Ingredients:
Cinnamon bark, cinnamon twig, achyranthes,peach kernel, carthamus, milettia, angelica radix, red peony, astragalus, codonopsis, poria, white atractylodes, licorice, cnidium
Monitoring:
By physical examination, laboratory testing, radiographs and or sonogram.
Contraindications:
Do not use in animals who are sensitive to any ingredients. There is no contraindication known in conjunction with conventional drugs.
Prescribing Information:
May be combined with ACE inhibitors, nutraceuticals such as coenzyme Q10 and cardiac glycosides as needed. Toxicity & reactions are extremely rare. In some extreme cases, herbal supplements may cause vomiting & diarrhea in the first 24-48 hours. Symptoms stop as soon as the herbal supplements discontinued.
