Indications:
Pneumonia (bacterial, viral, eosinophilic, allergic), kennel cough, and bronchiopneumonitis
Dose:
One capsule/ 10-20 lbs of body weight twice daily depending on the severity.
Ingredients:
Mulberry leaves, morus bark, trichosanthes seeds, apricot seed, fritillaria bulb, pseudotellaria root, poria, ophiopogon root, houttuynia, lophatherum, citrus, licorice, gypsum/raw, anemarrhena
Monitoring:
Physical examination and laboratory testing.
Contraindications:
There is no contraindication known in conjunction with conventional drugs.
Prescribing Information:
Initial antibiotic may be needed. Toxicity & reactions are extremely rare. In some extreme cases, herbal supplements may cause vomiting & diarrhea in the first 24-48 hours. Symptoms stop as soon as the herbal supplements discontinued
